Senior Basketball Coach
West Harbour, West Auckland
Contractor, ongoing during term time
$28 - $30p/h
Saturdays, during term time | 1pm - 5pm
In this role, you’ll help with:
Leading engaging basketball sessions across different age groups
Adapting coaching to different learning styles, abilities, and confidence levels
Supporting a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all players
Providing clear feedback, encouragement, and guidance
Working closely with the Head Coach
Supporting and mentoring Junior Coaches during sessions
Building strong relationships with players, families, and whānau
Helping with attendance, basic programme admin, and incident reporting when required
Following Skillset Sport Basketball’s safeguarding and organisational policies
We’re looking for someone with:
Basketball coaching experience or strong basketball knowledge
Experience working with young people
Confidence leading groups
Strong communication skills
Reliability and professionalism
A positive, people-first mindset
Interest in supporting and mentoring developing coaches
Commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and enjoyable sporting environments
Junior Basketball Coach
Albany, North Shore
Contractor, ongoing during term time
Volunteer
